PCST Breaks Into the National Scene With Brilliant Performances By Cody Bronnenberg in Irvine, California! I realize each of my Tsunami families have received the daily updates from Irvine, California during our fantastic week at Junior Nationals.  However, you know we have to put this stuff up on the front page of the website too because we are incredibly proud of Cody and cannot wait to report more as his teammates join him at Junior Nationals and beyond over this next year. To make a long wonderful story short, our...

Once Again.......Greatest Long Course Southeasterns Ever!! I hope it's not getting old for your to read that every summer because it's certainly not getting old to say!  Yes, once again, your Tsunamis have done it.  This long course season, 28 of you and your teammates banded together to become the greatest long course Southeastern Championship team in the history of our program.  The venue was a beautiful new facility at the University of Tennessee and our swimmers took full advantage of the great new pool! We qualified more swimmers than we've...

Fallon Gelsleichter and Sarah Adams Teamed Up To Lead the Tsunamis In Dothan! At the final short course meet of the summer, two of our top 11-12 year old girls showed why they are so great.  Fallon Gelsleichter and Sarah Adams both got high point trophies along with Ethan Rine in his last meet as a 10 & Under.  We did not have a large contingent of swimmers, but the ones we had were terrific and helped the Tsunamis still place fairly respectively as a team. Final Team Scores 1)...

Chet Seaman Helps Tsunamis Break 18 Team Records and Finish 31st at Sectional Championships! (Great Last Chance Meet in Gulf Breeze Too!) Yes, I'm getting closer and closer to catching up on our team news articles this very busy summer.  This particular weekend was July 9-11 and we had 3 different meets going on at the same time.  We sent 9 swimmers to Gainesville at the University of Florida to become our largest Sectional Championship Team ever!  The largest team we've ever sent to Sectionals before this was 3 in...

Tsunamis Take the 1st Place Visiting Team Trophy at the ATAC Long Course Meet! Yes, I am very well aware that it's now August and this meet took place in late June.  Needless to say, the last month has been a LITTLE busy for us with the great championships that you'll get to read about soon.  But I'm back home (at least for a few days) and I'm working on getting caught up on our terrific news articles from the summer.  There were WAY too many great swims at the...

Seniors Race in Luxory In Orlando While Age Groupers Rock in Gulf Breeze! While the Tsunamis may have been split up throughout three different meets (with our beloved Amelia Talkington taking names in Arizona), our team strength certainly was not divided.  I am proud to say that between the 2nd annual Senior trip to Orlando, the GPAC meet in Gulf Breeze and Amelia's great swims out west, the Tsunamis set all sorts of team records, new all-time top 10 swims as well as many many new age group all-time top...

PCST Age Group and Novice Swimmers Win 1st Place Visiting Team Without Help of Seniors!!! It was a beautiful weekend at the Destin YMCA and PCST had a wonderful turnout of 45 Tsunami that were entirely from the Age Group and Novice groups.  There were some terrific swims including some team records, new All-Time and Age Group All-Time Top 10 swims, tons of trophies that went home as well as a wonderful "Cup" for winning the 1st place visiting team award. GPAC Distance Meet Filled With Team Records, Events Winner, Southeastern Qualifying Times, Lightning and Massive Downpours! Let's face it.................swimming all 9 events 200m through 1500m of every stroke in 2 days was not going to be a piece of cake for any senior swimmer.  Nor would have been swimming 200's of stroke, 400 IM, 800 free, etc for our 9-12 year olds for the first time.  For the Tsunamis, that was too easy so we decided to have Saturday heat and Sunday thunderstorm delays thrown on top of it! :) ...

Tsunamis Break 34 Team Records and Finish in 2nd Place Out of 13 Teams at the Paradise Invitational! It's going to take me a long time to put together all of the new rankings, records & stats from this home meet!  Thankfully the storm blew through and we were able to get in 2 full days of swimming on Saturday and Sunday.  The weekend ended up being full of great swimming too!  There were 450 swimmers from 13 different teams at the meet, and PCST brought 96 of those swimmers...

Victoria Hove and Cody Bronnenberg Lead Tsunamis at the Postseason Championship Meets! As some of you can imagine, my life gets a little hectic around the championship season.  So I apologize for taking so long to put this news article together, but it's worth the wait!  We had 2 Tsunamis compete at the higher level championship meets this season and I wanted to make sure you heard all about them. :)  Victoria Hove kicked us off with her first ever Sectional Championship meet in Nashville, TN the week after Southeasterns.  Then,...
