PCST Finishes 2nd at Paradise Invitational!
Tsunamis Break 34 Team Records and Finish in 2nd Place Out of 13 Teams at the Paradise Invitational!
It's going to take me a long time to put together all of the new rankings, records & stats from this home meet! Thankfully the storm blew through and we were able to get in 2 full days of swimming on Saturday and Sunday. The weekend ended up being full of great swimming too! There were 450 swimmers from 13 different teams at the meet, and PCST brought 96 of those swimmers to help us achieve a 2nd place team finish!
The Area Tallahassee Aquatic Club (ATAC) brought 93 swimmers and won the meet in very impressive fashion. I cannot even pretend for a second that ATAC was not the clear dominating team of the weekend. We still have a long way to go to catch them and are very proud of how they swam at the meet. However, PCST managed to hold off two charging and talented groups of swimmers in the Greater Pensacola Aquatic Club (GPAC) and Emerald Coast Swimming (ECS) to take the 2nd place position. In the process, PCST broke an amazing 7 relay records and 24 individual team records in the very first meet of the season! Here are the final team standings from the weekend.

Next up for the Tsunamis will be the GPAC Distance Meet May 15-16 in Gulf Breeze, FL. Our Seniors and Age Groupers will compete in events 200 meters or longer only at the meet. Hopefully I'll have loads of great results to tell you about so stay tuned!
