Tsunamis Double Up With 2 Great Meets!

While the Tsunamis may have been split up throughout three different meets (with our beloved Amelia Talkington taking names in Arizona), our team strength certainly was not divided.  I am proud to say that between the 2nd annual Senior trip to Orlando, the GPAC meet in Gulf Breeze and Amelia's great swims out west, the Tsunamis set all sorts of team records, new all-time top 10 swims as well as many many new age group all-time top 10 swims.

In addition to the GPAC meet, we took 18 Tsunami seniors to the Trinity Prep meet in Winter Park, FL (near Orlando).  We were lucky enough again this year to stay at the GORGEOUS Shingle Creek resort for 3 nights.  We raced for two days, had a great time at the hotel on Saturday after the meet (how often are you going to find your coach playing the guitar and singing for you on the pool deck??), and then had an amazing day at Islands of Adventure.  And yes............we got to go on the brand new Harry Potter ride before it officially opened and it's one heck of a ride!  I thought Allison Troia was going to pee her pants in excitement when she found out it was open, haha!  Enjoy the statistics below because they won't last long.  Soon I'll be posting the ATAC meet results where we re-wrote a great deal of the all-time records!

AAAA Swims in Gulf Breeze!
Congratulations to Kari Troia for reaching the AAAA level in the 10 & Under Girls 50 and 100 meter breast.  This is the highest level out there for the national age group motivational times.  Awesome job Kari!!
