We sure have had a lot of great meets lately!  Although we have been traveling a lot and have more great swims to tell you about coming up, I didn't want to let this amazing Tallahassee meet pass by without getting it's due credit!  We had so many fantastic swims that I want to make sure everyone knows how awesome our Tsunamis were.   As many of you know, the ATAC meets always hold a special place in my heart...

Tsunamis Of All Ages Post Incredible In-Season Times at Coast Aquatics Long Course Meet! For the second straight year, PCST has been fortunate enough to be a "visiting" team at our home pool thanks to Coast Aquatics hosting their long course meet here in Panama City Beach at Frank Brown Park.  The best part about it is that Coast did a fantastic job of bringing in a large number of swimmers from outside of the area, resulting in new faces and fun competitive races for all of our swimmers.  It's...

Tsunamis Show Versatility at Coast Pentathlon! More than 30 PCST swimmers made the trip to Destin to compete in the Coast Aquatics Pentathlon Meet.  The meet featured nearly 200 swimmers representing teams from Florida and Mississippi.  Swimmers competed in each of the four strokes as well as the Individual Medley and brought home many awards.  It is rare that PCST swimmers get a chance to swim Short Course Yards during the Summer meet season, so our Tsunamis took the chance to establish some new Team Records, Southeastern Qualifying Times, and...

Exciting News About PCST Spring Lessons, Summer Lessons and Summer Splashes! Five years ago a dream of mine began as we created the PCST Summer Splashes Swim Team in 2008.  We started with 63 swimmers that year and have grown to over 200 in 2012.  Last summer, another dream of mine became a reality as we started our first ever PCST Lessons program with "Summer Lessons".  Those 95 young swimmers pushed us to over 300 summer swimmers last year.  My goal is to get over 400 this summer and I'm...

PCST Defends Home Turf and Takes First Overall In Team Standings at Paradise Invitational! It's not that often when you'll read a headline such as the one I have so proudly displayed in this news article!  As the Panama City Swim Team has vastly improved in recent years, so has our competition.  Teams like ATAC, CMSA, Coast and GPAC have all become formidable oppponents at even our own home competitions, proving it increasingly challenging to win our own meet.  So when we do.........it's time to celebrate! In a competition that featured 377 swimmers representing 13 teams from across Florida, Alabama, and...
