PCST 1st Place Visiting Team in Tallahassee!
Tsunamis Prove To Be The Top Visiting Team at ATAC Meet!
We sure have had a lot of great meets lately! Although we have been traveling a lot and have more great swims to tell you about coming up, I didn't want to let this amazing Tallahassee meet pass by without getting it's due credit! We had so many fantastic swims that I want to make sure everyone knows how awesome our Tsunamis were.
As many of you know, the ATAC meets always hold a special place in my heart because of my years coaching there as a young budding coach as well as my many years living in Tallahassee. While our main goal was simply to swim fast at this meet rather than putting a major focus on trying to win the visiting team award, we ended up achieving both at the same time! And with this being my last ATAC meet as Head Coach of PCST, I couldn't be prouder of how great our Tsunamis competed! Not only did we smash a bunch of team records and new all-time top 10 swims, but we also added new Southeastern cuts while coming home as the best team in the meet (outside of the home team ATAC of course). :)
Tsunamis Break 18 Team Records In Tally!
Boy oh boy were we full of records at this meet!  Alex Fulton continued his season long assault on the 8 & under boys' records, while Kyla Hallam and Chad McGuire blasted some 13-14 records.  Maddie Campbell broke her first EVER team record for the 11-12 girls, Hannah Retherford took down the legendary Victoria Hove backstroke records in 15-16 girls, and Jonathan Ratliff broke his first of what we expect to be many new all-time marks for the 17 & older boys.

PCST Swimmers Win 16 Individual Events at ATAC!
We had an amazing 8 different swimmers win 16 individual events at the ATAC meet!  Even if this were simply a dual meet with ATAC, that would have been an amazing accomplishment..  But when you throw all of the other very competitive teams into the mix, you get a very tough meet.  Well done to each of the following swimmers who won individual events!  Unfortunately, I do not have the overall high point scores in front of me right now, but I do know that our swimmers like Alex Fulton, Ella Hicks, Alex Phlegar and Jonathan Ratliff all finished either 1st or 2nd in their age group for high point.  Great job Tsunamis!
Ella Hicks (8&U Girls) - 50 Breast, 50 Fly
Natalie McKenzie (10&U Girls) - 200 Free
