Caitlin Myers Heading Off Into the Wild Blue Yonder! PCST Senior swimmer Caitlin Myers will be going West to Colorado Springs this Fall to attend the United States Air Force Academy Preparatory School.  The school is on the Academy’s campus, but completely isolates the Preparatory students from the cadets at the Academy. PCST Swimmers Show Versatility at Coast Pentathlon! Taylor Wilder and Jonathan Ratliff make College Decisions! PCST swimmers and Mosley High School Seniors Taylor Wilder and Jonathan Ratliff have each made their college decisions.  Taylor will swim for the University of West Florida for Coach Andrew Hancock, while Jonathan will swim at Florida State University for Coach Frank Bradley.  The two signed their National Letters of Intent last Friday at Mosley High School in front of family and friends.  Congratulations to both Taylor and Jonathan from all of your Tsunami teammates! Long Course Season Kicks Off in Auburn! The 2014 Long Course Swim Season is officially underway.  More than 30 Tsunami swimmers competed in the Jimi Flowers Meet on the campus of Auburn University April 11-13.  The meet was a dual sanctioned competition featuring 18&under USA Swimming registered athletes as well as US Masters Swimming registered athletes.  Special congratulations go out to PCST Masters swimmer Allison Lewis who qualified for the 2014 USMS National Championships and the FINA Masters World Championships.  Congratulations to the following swimmers who won events at the...

Blue Team Withstands Red Team Charge, Wins Tusnami Cup! The Blue Team held off a late charge by the Red Team to claim the Winter 2014 Overall Team Championship and the Tsunami Cup!  The Red team made a fantastic effort to close the large gap by dominating the third meet 665 to 440.  The overall total ended with the Blue Team victorius (1,416.5 to 1,361.5).  Great job by everyone this season to give us yet another heart stopping finish to the Tsunami Cup Intrasquad Competition.   Congratulations to our event...

Michael Duderstadt Scores at NCAA Championships! Congratulations to PCST alum, and Auburn University Freshman Michael Duderstadt who recently competed at the 2014 NCAA Division 1 Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships.  Duderstadt was a member of Auburn’s third place 200 yard Medley Relay, swimming the Breaststroke leg.  Individually, Michael placed 12th in the 100 yard Breaststroke, 32nd in the 200 yard Breaststroke, and 43rd in the 200 yard Individual Medley.  The swims in the 200 Medley Relay and 100 Breaststroke qualified Michael for Honorable Mention All American distinction.  The 100 Breaststroke...

Gabe Grauvogel Sets Two Team Records! Twelve year old Tsunami Gabe Grauvogel set two new PCST Team Records this weekend at the 2014 Age Group Sectional Meet in Atlanta, Georgia.  Gabe made the most of his last meet as a 12 year old, establishing the new marks in the 50 yard Freestyle (25.29) and the 100 yard Breaststroke (1:14.58).  The previous records were set in 2009 and 2011 respectively.  Congratulations Gabe!

Myers, Ratliff, and Retherford Compete at NCSA Junior Nationals! Tsunami swimmers Caitlin Myers, Jonathan Ratliff, and Hannah Retherford competed at the 2014 NCSA Junior National Swim Meet in Orlando, Florida March 18-22.  The meet featured more than 1750 of the fastest swimmers from across the country.  In fact, multiple National Age Group Records went down each day at the meet!  Our swimmers represented the team very well, sometimes competing in events with up to 400 swimmers.  Statistics from the meet are listed below: New Team Records 15-16 Girls Hannah Retherford...
