GPAC Tom Lalor Invitational

PCST showcased outstanding performances at the GPAC Tom Lalor Invitational held in Pensacola, FL, from June 7-9. With a strong contingent of 21 swimmers, our team achieved exceptional results, with 19 swimmers setting new personal bests.

Throughout the competition, PCST swimmers participated in 144 events and achieved 89 personal best times, marking a success rate of 61%. This impressive achievement highlights the dedication and hard work of our athletes and coaching staff.

Standout Performances

We are thrilled to celebrate the accomplishments of our event winners:

  • Charlie Levins (8) scored 54 points for PCST and was the high-point winner for the 8&U girls. She excelled in her category, winning the 100 Free, 50 Fly, 200 Free, 50 Back, 100 Breast and 50 Free.
  • Maxim Kurochkin (8) dominated the 8&U boys category, winning the 100 Free, 50 Fly, and 200 Free.
  • Reuben Deneau (10) excelled in the 9-10 age group, winning the 100 Back, 200 Free, and 200 IM. He was also the high-point winner for his age group, scoring 67 points for PCST.
  • Dawn Goines (12) took home first place in the 200 free for the 11-12 girls.
  • Pohaku Rademacher (12) swept multiple events in the 11-12 category, winning the 400 Free, 100 Fly, 50 Back, and 50 Free. 

Notable Achievements

Our swimmers also performed remarkably in securing second and third places in various events, contributing significantly to the team’s overall success. Highlights include multiple podium finishes by Reuben Deneau, Pohaku Rademacher, Maxim Kurochkin, Ethan DeMoss, Roman Acoff, Sena Chlebda, and Dawn Goines.

Also congratulations on top three finishes by Jack Deneau, Bella Blitch and Clark Wilt.

Special Recognitions

We extend our congratulations to swimmers who achieved Southeastern Swimming (SES) automatic qualifying and bonus cut times:

  • Gabe Williams and Roman Acoff for achieving SES automatic qualifying times.
  • Ethan DeMoss and Dawn Goines for obtaining SES bonus cut times.

A round of applause goes to Adria Neuman, Peanut Rademacher, and Pohaku Rademacher for achieving 100% personal best times during the meet.

Pohaku Rademacer broke a PCST 11-12 boys LC team record in the 50 free with a 27.08.

Motivational Time Standards

Several swimmers reached new motivational time standards, setting new benchmarks for themselves and inspiring their teammates.
