GPAC and Dothan Meets Bring Great Swims for PCST!

PCST Brings Home Hardware From Dothan Meet and Great Swims From GPAC Meet!

In back to back weekends, the PCST squad was split up into two fantastic meets.  On the front end of our consecutive meets fell the GPAC competition in Pensacola where our senior swimmers really showed up and swam well in spite of being tired and having the County Championships the day before.  To finish up our double meet schedule, our awesome Age Group and Novice swimmers came home from Dothan with a 3rd Place Visiting Team trophy!!  Congratulations to all of our Tsunamis who swam best times and had fantastic races.  Here are some of the highlights from those two fast weekends of swimming.

Tsunamis Finish As 3rd Place Visiting Team in Dothan!
Anytime our Age Group and Novice swimmers go to a meet on their own without the seniors, they always rise to the occassion!  In spite of not having a good chunk of our team, our young Tsunamis showed just how awesome they are by finishing right up there with very tough ATAC and ECS squads!  Here are the team scores so you can see how close it was.

Dothan Dolphins Swim Team (DDST, home team)................1,184 points
Area Tallahassee Aquatic Club (ATAC)..................................848.50 points
Unattached Emerald Coast Swimming (UN-ECS).....................646 points
Panama City Swim Team (PCST)............................................620 points (3rd Place Visiting Team)
Eufaula Waverunners (EWR)...................................................373 points

4 Tsunamis Improve the All-Time Top 10 List!
This is particularly exciting because we will be getting all sorts of fun new updates to the All-Time Top 10 list over the next few weeks as the high school post season begins and the GPAC Fall Championship meet concludes the first half of the short course season for many of our Tsunamis.  So for us to have new all-time top 10 swims in the middle of the season is hopefully a very exciting precursor to what's coming our way in the next month!

Taylor Wilder 100 Back 8th (1:04.96)
Jamie McDonald 400 IM 10th (4:59.84)
JD Clutch 50 Back 5th (26.16)
